Our history and
our mind
Since June 1, 2026, we have taken over the Auberge du Lac Bleu, located in La Gouille, in the heart of the Val d'Hérens. We wish to bring this mountain inn to life in our own way, adding our personal touch and welcoming both travelers and locals.
The spirit of the inn
For us, hospitality is all about the simple things: taking the time to chat, sharing our advice, and creating a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you come for a coffee, a meal, or several nights, we want everyone to feel comfortable and fully enjoy their stay with us.
Between La Gouille and the Blue Lake
Located at the start of the trail leading to the famous Lac Bleu d'Arolla, our inn enjoys an exceptional natural setting. Summer or winter, La Gouille is a perfect starting point for exploring the landscapes of the Val d'Hérens, enjoying mountain activities, or simply relaxing in peace and quiet.
A place to meet
Whether it's a meal with friends, a group stay, an association outing, or a private event, the inn is also a place where people love to get together and share good times. With our accommodations and restaurant, we offer various options for gatherings in a mountain setting.
They can explain it better than we can.
"We only used the bar, but it was a very good time. The bartender was very friendly and gave good advice about excursions."
Noah Mesec
"Great for a quick coffee before heading up to the Blue Lake of Arolla"
David Martin Bastide
"A very pretty inn with a friendly and still unspoiled atmosphere. Excellent welcome, outstanding service and cuisine."
